The BTAQ organising committee, on behalf of the BTFA, takes pleasure in inviting you to attend the 14th Annual Bowen Therapy Conference on the fabulous Gold Coast. Your registration forms, accommodation details and additional information are included further down for download.

The theme of this year’s conference is "Expanding the Vision of Bowen"........Bowen the Man, and Bowen the Therapy. It is all about Bowen. We hope to take participants through the journey of an amazing therapy that had its humble beginnings some 60 years ago in a clinic in Geelong, and that is now taught and its benefits enjoyed around the world. In cherishing the past, we can embrace the future. We aim to acknowledge the origins and embrace the differences of the many ways in which this craft is now practiced. To this end, we have compiled a range of Australian and international speakers who through teaching, researching, discovering or supporting members have, indeed, "expanded the vision of Bowen". Confirmed speakers include:

 Heather Edmonds – Tom Bowen’s youngest daughter

 Ross Emmett – Emmett Technique

 Robert Schliep – Director, Fascial Research Project at Ulm University (Germany)

 Chris Reed – President BAA, co-trustee Tom Bowen Trust Fund

 Eleanor Oyston – National Programme Director for Oncology Massage

 Representatives from the Council of Schools, including

 Russell Sturgess and Pat Piper (Fascial Kinetics)

                   Brian Smart (Smart Bowen)

 Neil Skillbeck (Academy of Integrated Therapies)

 Barry Samels and Cathy Butlin – BTFA/One National Body Update

Additional speakers will be confirmed in due course. A highlight of the conference will be a presentation from the Tom Bowen Trust Fund.

The conference provides a unique opportunity for all participants to catch up with old friends, meet new ones, and network together with other members of the Bowen community. For the first time we have included a special "Student Price" to encourage students to get involved with our association. We invite you to journey with us........and we look forward to seeing you at what we are sure will be an informational and inspirational Bowen event!

We hope you will join us!

Yours in Bowen,

BTAQ COMMITTEE
